Arnold Palmer Invitational - Outright

I
think Adam Scott wins this from Rory McIlroy, but I think Scott is a fair way clear of Rory who in turn is a long way clear of the rest. It is hard to get involved at 8/1 and 12/1 respectively in a competitive renewal on a course which, like last week, has new greens. The new greens last week made it less about putting than expected. Approach play accounted for 49% of the top 10s total gain on the field, a real difference from previous years.

I think it is worth having an interest on two young talents from the European Tour. This should set up well for Byeong-Hun An and Thomas Pieters and they represent decent value at 80/1 and 100/1.

Hero Indian Open - Outright

This revolves more accuracy over power more than any other event all year. It is finding a prodder like S.S.P Chowrasia at a price that should get the job done. However, nothing appeals at the prices. Joost Luiton 10/1, Peter Uihlein (who will hit a lot of irons and is in great form) 18/1, Prayad Marksaeng 28/1, Anirban Lahiri 15/2 and Brett Rumford 18/1 all make appeal but none look worth backing. I am going to just play the matches in India.

Hero Indian Open - 72 Hole Matches

10 points Prayad Marksaeng to beat Scott Hend @ 10/11 (bet365)

Hero Indian Open - 1st round 3 balls

2 points Jorge Campillo @ 11/8 to beat Shiv kaput and Thaworn Wiratchant
