Bridgestone Invitational and Turning Stone Resort Championship.

Wentworth boys looked after us last week, Ross winning in Ireland at 20/1 and Simon placing at 250/1! This week is brief as I am on a flight to Austria in 7 hours and I need to pack!!

There is a World Championship event at Friestone CC, Akron, Ohio. A quality field is gathered. Woods and Furyk boast the best course form but I am going to take them on with a few form players who are big on accuracy. Last year the course gave up 2.72 birdies to each player per round on average so scoring will be tough.

Westwood should be refreshed after a break since finishing 2nd in the British Open. He was 2nd in putting here last year and I think backing possibly the best player in the world right now is good value at 14/1. The USPGA is next week at Whistling Straights, a course that should be perfect for him. If he has a big week this week he will not be 16/1 there so I am going to recommend him this week so we do not lose the value.

Kuchar is still statistically unreal. He has played a lot of weeks in a row which is a worry, but his consistency must be rewarded soon. Take the 66/1.

O'Hair is also a bet at 50/1. His awesome long game will be rewarded here and if he putts half decent he will not be far away.

Overton played awesome golf last week and should have won. His length will not be a huge advantage here but 80/1 seems to be a big price.

The US Tour event this week is a poor line up. Brendon De Jonge played good last week and has the game and confidence to win, back the Zimbabwian at 14/1.

Charles Howell was bogey free last week, missing only 6 greens. His 1st top 10 in 5 months. He has so much game and can go well in a week field. 25/1.

Simon Griffiths is a fifth of the price of last week @ 50/1.... I am going to leave him alone at that price but he has every chance of another big week.
